Damia at The Curve...

We feel soo bored today. papa just finish shooting this morning. papa friend ask papa to shoot his family photo. papa start early since morning and evening is the best time for shooting with great ambient light.
after finish shooting, papa called mama and ask to dress up. papa plan to take mama and damia to the curve today. nothings there at the curve, just think that we have not been there quite long and mama wanna eat at Waroeng Penyet.
we have lunch at Waroeng Penyet. and we ordered Lele Penyet. nothing special, it is just a rice with sambal and fried ikan keli, tauhu and tempe. it is just ordinary food but maybe somebody find it interesting coz the food is still hot.
weather is too hot outside. so we just stay indoor only. going from one shop to another. nothing in plan, just looking around. actually papa and mama wanna find some new clothes for damia at outdoor stall. unfortunately no kids clothes on sale that time. most of the stalls sell girl+woman stuffs. no suitable for cute kids like damia..

Damia at IOI mall!!

lately internet network in UPM suffers very slow connection. papa dunno why. try to ask papa friend at the IT unit, but they also dun have information about it. sometimes it working but most of the time it don't.
ok, lets talk about something else.
last two week ago, we went to IOI mall in puchong. have not been here for a long time since no attraction to come here. but since there're new extension on the building, so we figure out there might be some new shops there. so we try to visit it this time.
and guess what, it still under renovation. not much new shop open. so it just still the same IOI mall.
the only things papa and mama try to search out is a playground for damia. damia love play with slide. but sorry damia, no slide here. we will try find it at another place next time. this time we just walk and do some window shopping. is it ok?

My lazy papa

damia has told papa so many times to update damia's fotopages. but papa just ignore it.. so damn lazy papa.. urghhh!!! damia wanna merajuk laa macam ni.
damia now can wear mama tudung. even though it is sooo big, but damia manage to put it on. next time mama need to buy one for damia ok!!! damia wanna wear tudung during this year hari raya. damia wanna be as cute as mama too..

Damia in White Studio

Yerp.. this time papa took mama and damia to a white studio. actually it is not far away. just at home.. hik hik.. using minimal two light source and white wall, you can simulate a white studio. but you need to figure out the light ratio properly so the effect will be much greater. actually the setup here need more adjustment since need to avoid flare from the back light source, but since damia starting to get 'wild', so papa just continue with what papa had.
capturing child's picture is very tough. yes, sooo tough. so we need to capture their attention. one way to do it by let them play with their favorite toys/props. this will let them ease with the situation rather then just focus on camera. so the photographer need to find the angle and be ready. the moment just happen once. if it happen twice, you will be the luckiest person in the world.
on more technique is by singing together with the child. find their fav songs, and sing together. while the child try to follow the song, this is the best time to get the shot. their face impression is more natural.
just try this two techniques. believe me, it works!!

Damia First Modelling Job
|
|
We would like to share this very great news to all of you guys. Damia just bagged her first modeling job ever. Wowww.. papa and mama so suprise until we speechless.
This is not for a big company. just of a retailer F.O.S and damia will be a model for their kids department. so when their have new design and will be put in the catalog, damia will be perform in front of the camera.
Below is some pictures taken during her first shoot out. all clothes are sponsored by F.O.S except her soother. who know maybe next time damia will get contract with Avent.
Papa and mama would like to say thanks to Tyra Banks for giving damia this great opportunity... WAITTTT!!!! what did you say? Tyra Banks?

2 months without update!!!
|
|
Woo hooo... nearly 2 months without any updates. so many things happen during this time. but the most precious thing happen is to watch our little princess damia's first step. Alhamdulillah, damia can walk now. Feel soo happy. Most father and mother always waiting for this moment. Papa and mama can see how damia struggle for her first time. But damia is a fighter. She never give up. And finally after many attempts for the whole week, damia succeed.
We also have moved to our new apartment. not my house actually. we just rent it. still not decide yet where we will settle down. papa plans is to move back home at perak, and mama also have her plan too. we wait and what will happen next. Allhamdulillah, our new rented apartment have spacious living hall. suitable for damia to play around. the surrounding is great, kinda chill during night (no need aircond), have security guard, pool etc. so we feel save here. papa will not feel so worried when papa go out for photography jobs.
One reason why papa didn't update any entry is papa just sold his old laptop. so papa dun have any platform to do photo editing etc. but last two weeks papa just got his new toy. more powerful and have a better performance when do any jobs. from papa research works to photography works that use heavy software, now everything can be done without any big problems. so happy.. hehehe..
During this period too, I've have been robbed for my first time in my life. DAMN YOU ROBBER!!! i really wish we will meet again one day. and be ready coz i will hit you by car!!
My classmates have organized a pre-reunion aka lepak-lepak at the curve. actually papa didn't meet them for a long time. so papa take this opportunity to bring mama and damia to meet papa's friends. not all available to come. actually the main purpose for this meet up is to discuss for our next grand reunion. so jahar will have reason to come to KL.. hehhee, great excuse!!
Some pictures taken during this outing. this time papa try the image post-processing to emulate 80's style. the color is slightly yellowish. kinda like this tone. maybe for next wedding jobs, papa will come out with new design.

Damia at The Curve - B&W entry

|
Papa tries to create old skool mood in this entry. So papa convert the pictures into black and white.
Last saturday we went to The Curve. Papa wanna buy some frame and mama wanna buy dress for damia. After several times hard to get parking there from previous visit, so we plan to shoot there early. After having breakfast, papa straight drove to the curve. and we arrieved there at 10.30am. Early right?
Damia also in good mood. Just sleep while papa drive. Good girl.
So as always, our pictures... this time papa just use 50mm lens. just wanna test papa creativity while using prime lens, no zoom. As usual papa posted color pictures, but now just black and white. So which is the best?

Damia 1st Birthday Party
|
|
On 10th January, Mama and her friends organised Damia's first birthday party. Actually this is a join event with mama's friends who also organised house warming party since they just move to their new apartment.
Thanks to auntie Jehan, auntie neena, auntie zaza, auntie nana, uncle mus, uncle fizi and others (sorry if papa forgot ur name). The event was soo happening. Damia enjoy the moment since many guests come on that night.
A week before the event, mama teach damia how to blow the candle. But during that night, maybe damia too happy so she forgot how to blow it. So mama take the action.
Damia recieved soo many presents that night. Thanks everybody. Damia will take a very good care of it.

Damia now 1 year old
|
|
Papa and mama wake up this morning with a very happy feeling. Yerp.. Today is damia 1 year old. On this day las year, damia was born at 12am (tengahari rembang) at putrajaya hospital. Papa and mama can't believe it that our lovely daughter is now 1 year old. We feel like damia just born yesterday. Times flying very fast, like a blik of eyes.
If papa and mama rewind back our time, there're lots of memories that are so priceless. It started when papa and mama discovered that mama is pregnant. While having a check-up in a clinic and watch damia in mama's tummy through scanner, see damia moves, watch damia heartbeat for our first time, trying to identify damia gender while looking at the scanner, monitoring damia progress, measuring damia head size... ohhh.. papa and mama will keep this in our memories forever. It's so valueble for us.
It still fresh in our mind while we playing with damia even she still in mama's tummy. mama's tummy wobble whn damia moves inside it. Especially when papa and mama play 'ugar Plum' song from the handphone. It's still the dami's favourite song until now.
When mama strugling to deliver damia, mama in extreme pain. Bear in mind, don't drink air selusuh so early. Wait until the delivery pain. Did damia knows papa becomes a punching bag when mana try to deliver you? Mama pulls papa's hair, grab papa's neck, pull papa shirt. And after waiting nearly 12 hours, then damia came out at last. Without need to do anything, damia just start crying by herself.
Then, the hectic life is started. That's the fact we need to face when become mother and father. Papa become nervous when damia can't suck milk. Damia crying outloud day and night. Eventhough papa and mama feel a bit tired, but we feel happy. Very happy.
Damia, do you remember when papa and mama search for a milk bottle for you? We tried everything, from cheapest until expensive brand. But you hardly wanna suck it. Papa and mama worried because we have to send you to a babysitter. Papa still remember mama crying at night miss about damia when we have to leave damia at tok ibu's house for couple of days.
While damia still couples of months old, sometimes she hardly to poopoo. So Klinik Mesra have become damia's poopoo toilet. Even the workers there remember why we come to the clinic. After the doctor give some medicine, everybody can hear damia screaming.
It is all the memories that always be in papa and mama's mind, forever and ever. It is the best ever things happen in our lifes.
Now damia is 1 year old. She is healthy, cute, beautiful, adorable, talktative (baby's languange), joyfull and all other best of you.
Damia zahirah, papa and mama wish you will be in a healthy life and grow up becoming a cute, beautiful and good girl. Papa and mama love you sooo much.

Us at Penang
|

This entry dedicated to mama coz this is her first time ever went to penang. Even though papa's kampung just near by, but didn't have chance to bring mama there. and not forgotten, this is also damia's first.
actually we stayed at pak long house at bertam. just 20 minutes drive to penang. on our first night, we went to batu feringgi. since papa told mama about the crowd and the stalls there, mama feels excited. actually that night, the traffic was packed. we going out from house around 9pm, have a dinner and vroom to batu feringgi. actually we should arrive around 10.30pm (as planned). but we just managed to arrive the around 11.10pm. so we just have 50 minutes to walk around since during weekdays the area close at 12am.
nothing much we bought that night. papa bought prison break dvd season 3 and mama bought some ear ring. actually mama interested with one LV handbag there, but the price is too high. RM75 for one fake handbag.
next morning, we went to penang one more time. during night, mama can't see the bridge and the sea clearly. so now mama can see it. but damia can't coz she sleeping...
we plan to visit bukit bendera. unfortunately it closed fo a mantainance. i heard it has overdue nearly 6 months. TYPICAL... then we drove to Taman Bunga Pulau Pinang..what? taman bunga? hahahah.. yes, taman bunga. just have some relaxing walk around that place. since it was a school holiday, many people around. Acually this place is famous with it monkey, but we dunno why on that day, not even one monkey we can see playing around that area.
the best part is, mama have chance to be on Penang Ferry. yerp.. it is mama first time be on the ferry. damia also feel happy onboard.
then we went to JUSCO bandar perda to have our lunch. watch both damia and afeef sleeping in jusco trolley. both soo cute. pity us, dun have money to buy stroller.. hehehhe..
there was a performance by a disney character held in that jusco. during that time, afeef still sleeping. hs mama wake him up when his favourite character, ELMO sing an elmo song. we laugh at afeef coz he look speechless, he can't talk anything. afeef just staired at elmo with his mouth wide open. maybe afeef feel shocked because now he meet his giant ELMO. we have chance to take a picture with them.
argghhh... papa have wrote too long. just wacth the pics then. hehehe.. bye..
